I’m testing position weighting in WideOrbit to push A-rate:30s to slot 2 in the 6-9a stopsets, with no-competitor adjacency and max [redacted] per break. It improves spacing, but I’m seeing 4–6 unplaced autos per day from conflicts; anyone found a better balance of priorities vs separation minutes to keep clears at 100% without losing avails?
Make slot 2 a ‘prefer, not must’ with a slot 3 fallback on pass two, and add a 6-minute category-only separation override for 6–9a; that cut our unplaced from about 6/day to zero without denting avails. Do you have ‘Relax constraints on final pass’ enabled in AutoSchedule? It keeps the robot from trying to shove a couch through a dog door.
@OP I set ‘no-competitor adjacency’ soft for A-rate:30s in 6–9a; ‘4–6 unplaced autos’ vanished… Keep 7:30–8:00 hard?
In WideOrbit, I knocked out the 4–6 unplaced by injecting a 5–10s house promo as a “separator” only when a competitor adjacency would block an A-rate:30 from “slot 2 in the 6–9a stopsets.” @OP would your format let a non-commercial unit satisfy adjacency so the A still lands without loosening the rule? You give up a sliver of avail, but clears stay at 100%…
