Who voiced our 1979 time check jingle

Digging through the library, I found a cart labeled “TM 79 — time check, key of A,” the one that says “It’s seven o’clock” with that buttery baritone. If you recognize the voice talent, tell me — I’m curating a throwback top-of-hour next Friday at 8 pm and want to credit them on air.

If the cart still has the leader, jot the session code and any ‘VO:’ initials; TM Studios will usually confirm the talent if you ping them here: https://www.tmstudios.com/contact. On my old KQ cart, ‘VO: CVD’ turned out to be Charlie Van Dyke — though some stations swapped in a local dub, so yours might be a clone. It’s like trying to ID a sax solo from a Polaroid, but the session log nails it.

It’s definitely a challenge to pinpoint those voices! In my experience, checking with TM Studios directly can help; they often have the session logs handy. Ever tried reaching out for older tracks like this before?
